What To Expect

Your first chiropractic appointment at Wynnum Chiropractic and Wellness Centre is a holistic assessment and creates the opportunity to work with you to plan health goals. You will be asked to complete an initial intake form to provide some background. The clinic staff can help you to complete the form if you prefer.

The initial meeting with our chiropractor is an opportunity to gain an understanding of your health history and to discuss current symptoms, past problems, and any treatments you currently have or have had in the past. The chiropractor will ask you questions about current difficulties and will complete relevant assessments.

On some occasions, additional tests may be required, such as an X-ray. This will be discussed with you on the initial assessment. On most occasions an initial treatment will occur, however this does depend on the outcome of assessments and whether additional tests are required first.

In the initial meeting, the chiropractor and you will discuss various treatment options and the expected outcomes of treatments, depending on your preferences. You will have the opportunity in every circumstance to make informed decisions about treatment plans.

At Wynnum Chiropractic and Wellness Centre, your privacy is of utmost importance to us. At the initial meeting, we will provide information to you on how we protect your privacy, and we will also discuss, and ensure that you consent to any occasions where your health information is shared, such as with another health provider, such as your General Practitioner.
